Before Russel T. Davies brought back Doctor Who and the main stream media fell in love with David Tennant we Who fans were in a desert. It was a terrible desert without any Doctor Who. Well, not really without, we had the books and audio adventures which later showed up on the scene. But many fan films and low budget spin offs made it out there.
